Why XML/XSLT?

XSLT (eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) is the language used for translating XML documents to different formats.

You can see why XML with XSLT provide good solutions for these tasks. And that's disregarding the issue of separating presentation logic from business logic, which becomes very important when you are working in a team, where Web designers need to change all HTML/CSS templates design frequently.

You simply force each of your pages to output XML, and apply the necessary XSLT stylesheet template. You can have any number of these XSLT templates and simply choose which one to apply. No change to any of your business or application logic.
