Best of 2000

With the arrival of the 'real' millennium, it's time again to look back over the past year. In 2000 we posted over 250 applets, servlets, applications, and tools. Below are the 2 most popular apps from each month of 2000.

January:

DJPopMenu
Pop-up navigation applet that supports unlimited multiple drop down menus and multiple images with an optional text description . Images can be displayed with a 3D " button" effect and border around them if desired.

NavBar offers compact navigation for sites short on real-estate. A small menu bar nestles over an image, (or not, as you choose), providing dropdown menus with configurable fonts and color.

password_protect

May:

Encyclogram
Encyclogram draws harmonograms, spirographs, and Lissajous figures. The decaying motion of the plot fills in the shapes with their spiralling-in echo. Encyclogram can also draw the curves in varying colors against a black background.

A cool little applet that fades text in, scrolls up and fades out as new text is entering from the bottom. Very easy to configure and it's Free!
