Reverse Complement
Reverse Complement is a simple applet that converts DNA or RNA sequences. You can insert a sequence in either plain-text or FastA formatvia copy/paste. The FastA format allows you also to convert more than one sequence at a time.
The applet converts the sequence into one of three formats:
- Reverse-Complement: This format generates a copy of a sequence by reading from the 3´ to the 5´ end and converting your bases into the appropriate complementary form.
- Complement: This format generates a copy of a sequence by reading from the 5 ´ to the 3 ´ end and converting your bases into the appropriate complementary form.
- Reverse: This format generates a copy of a sequence by reading from the 3´ to the 5´ end.
Finally, you can save your converted sequences as text file on your system.
Reverse Complement was developed under JDK 1.4
