A solid reference book split into Packages and Classes, and then arranged alphabetically for easy reference. Also includes a Cross-Reference section that is extremely useful. There is a ton of information in this book, and yet, its convenience makes it entirely non-threatening. Covers JDK 1.0, 1.1, and J2SE v1.2, v1.3. Note: this book is not a tutorial; it is for people who already know Java, and are looking for a good desk-reference.
