| Review |
This book is good not only for preparing for the Sun Java Certification exam, but is also a good way to master the Java language.
They have a number of code examples that are well explained, and there are good questions throughout the chapters to help you prepare for the all-important exam.
The book perhaps lacks in the wrong-answer explanations: there are times when more details should have been provided.
Bear in mind that this book is not designed for people without programming experience; you need not know Java to learn from this book, but you will need some programming background to find it useful.
Written in rather academic language (rather than step by step quick-learning techniques), the book also comes with the option to e-mail the authors with any additional queries you may have.
