| Description |
The Oculus Layout System makes laying out your Java-based GUIs a breeze. Comprised of a layout class library and a visual builder, the Oculus Layout System enables novices and experts alike to quickly create complex layouts in minutes. The Oculus Layout API includes extremely simple, yet very powerful custom layout managers that use the proprietary Oculus Layout paradigm for laying out widgets. The easy-to-use visual builder enables users to create an interface by dragging and dropping components and instantly generates easy-to-read, maintainable code.
Key innovations in the Oculus Layout solution include:
- Proprietary stretching model, which enables the system to automatically infer how to properly stretch almost any user interface.
- Cursor-based layout paradigm, which dramatically improves the readability and maintainability of the layout code.
The Oculus Layout System works with both Swing and AWT-based graphical user interfaces.
