PersonalChatware

This free distribution package for Lithic Personal Chatware (LPC) includes both the client and the server.

Lithic Personal Chatware (LPC) general beta release (version 0.9.9 release 1) is now available. LPC, written to run in the Java Runtime Environment, includes both a server and a client. The server must be launched on one system, then the IP address and port number (and access code if appropriate) must be supplied to people who are going to connect.

The client has a simple interface and is easy to use. The server includes logging functions and a remove feature. The client and server use a proprietary protocol, so they can not be used to converse with conventional chat software. This version introduces the plugin API, which permits developers to create plugins.
