Easy Setup
The easiest way to set up the LinkBar applet for your website is to use the
LinkBar Master setup wizard. Just click on the LBM.exe file that you will
find in this directory. This easy-to-use wizard will guide
you through the setup process and create all of the HTML code for you. You
will then need to place this code in the same direcory as the following four
class files:
- LinkBarTrial.class
- BarButton.class
- BarClock.class
- BarItem.class
Please note that the wizard will create the APPLET tag with the CODE
parameter set to "LinkBar.class". If you are using the free trial version of LinkBar,
you will need to manually change this value to "LinkBarTrial.class".
If you are not comfortable using the wizard, then you you may setup the applet
by starting with the code
found on this page.
Cut and paste this sample applet code into your own HTML page.
Please make sure all of the following files are
in the same directory as your html file:
- LinkBarTrial.class
- BarButton.class
- BarClock.class
- BarItem.class
After you change your HTML file you must
hit 'Reload' on your browser to view the changes. You may
need to close and reopen the browser to see the changes.
Once you have this sample applet working within your own page,
then begin to customize the parameters
for your own site.
