Introduction:
This Java animated menu applet adds some image processing to the menu. Lots of parameters are customizable and an example can be found in jam.html. To expand menus with more animation options will be done in the future.

Installation Guide:
  • If you unpack on UNIX-compatible machines:
  • Copy file from http://www.cis.udel.edu/~cliu/jam.zip
  • Do "unzip -U jam.zip"
  • If you unpack on PCs:
  • Use commercial packages "ZipPro", "WinZip", etc that can handle compressed files with case-sensitive names.
  • Obtaining JDK from SUN's Java site at http://java.sun.com
  • Setting up CLASSPATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and JAVA bin path in your login script (UNIX) or AUTOEXEC.BAT (PCs). For more details, check out SUN's JDK installation notes.

  • Quick Execution Guide:
    If you want to run this applet, you can do one of the following ways:
  • 1. Start any JAVA-enabled web browser and open "jam.html"
  • 2. Start "jam" program from command line with "appletviewer jam.html"
