The most current information on AntiCrash, including updates, can be found on the AntiCrash website - http://softheil.homepage.com ------------------------ How to Use This Document ------------------------ To view Readme1st.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window. How does v1.5 differ from v1.0 ------------------------------------------------ Fixes and performance improvements - Loading time enhancement - New Multi-Threading technology - Packed with 2 new very powerful class files to boost and keep the system as stable as possible - Compatible with Virtual Desktops like 'Litestep', 'Talisman' & 'WindowBlinds' - Provides Games a smoother loading and operation - Opening, Minimizing, and Closing of Application softwares is fast - Improve in graphic clarity ... the bottom line is, you will never find Windows so fast ... ------------------------------------------------ 2. Features ------------------------------------------------ AntiCrash is a Java applet which was developed in order to prevent Windows95/98 from crashing at all. It loads on your Windows desktop and provides flawless capability to access and switch between applications, it provides a true multi-threading enviorment for users and the applications can be opened and closed without the system getting unstable or slow. ------------------------------------------------ 3. Installation ------------------------------------------------ Extract all the files into C:\Softheil\AntiCrash\ directory. Windows 95 users ---------------- For Win95 users you will have to install Internet Explorer 4.0 and while installing please enable Active Desktop. After installation goto 'Display Properties' from Control Panel and in the 'Background' tab goto 'Browse' and choose the AntiCrash.html file which is in the c:\Softheil\AntiCrash\ directory, after that click 'Apply' and then 'OK' Please reboot after this. Windows 98 and Windows 98SE users --------------------------------- You are probably lucky because Windows98 already has a facility installed which alows .html or Webpages to load onto your desktop. Just goto 'Display properties' and then the 'Background' tab and by clicking on Browser please load the 'AntiCrash.html' file. Thank you for using AntiCrash! If this is the first time you have used AntiCrash, welcome to a new way to prevent your Windows from crashing. We are pleased ' you've taken the time to download AntiCrash and we look forward to your comments and suggestions. AntiCrash is a success after taking alot of pain and finally now there is a tool which prevents that Blue screen from poping up and making you loose all you unsaved and important data.
